Hi Rula. These flowers remind me of jasmine. I Googled thorny jasmine and got the #carissa family. Carissa macrocarpa is in the GT encyclopedia. Check the photos. It may be this or a related plant.

Looks like Natal plum South Africa.... fruit fermented makes a good moonshine like amarula...so my SA friend says
