Planting young plants

From Early Spring TO Early Spring

Carissa shrubs can be planted in almost any soil type but they prefer sandy sites. Select a growing position which receives some diect sunlight as they produce more fruit and flowers when they get plenty of sun, but will benefit from a little afternoon shade. In climates where temperatures drop to 0C, they are best grown in containers of rich compost which can be overwintered indoors.
