I'm still in denial. It's summer surely !!

I'm thinking of planting one of these, is yours just growing along a fence line? Also does it have colour all year? @sadieberg

It is just a nice fresh green backdrop in spring/summer but as soon as the temperature drops in autumn it has fabulous colours. In winter I chop it down as far as I can because it is quite rampant and then the new growth in spring can be trained over my fence to the right and over my shed and greenhouse to the left, I chop off any extra bits I don’t want so I can keep it in check @hobnob
