Ideally the spacing between 2 plants should be around 2 feet distance. For you to encourage blooms, you can add a phosphorus high fertilizer and ensure it gets good amount of Sun

I didn’t plant them. They were there when I moved in and the guy who cuts the grass kept cutting them down with a weed eater till I asked him to stop. They get plenty of sun though.

Welcome to Gtags! This is definitely a variety of #canna! They look great for being weed whacked! I would leave them be, and let them multiply - you will have bunches when you lift them in the fall (depending on your growing zone) Enjoy this phenomenal app!
