Love these unfortunately mine died after one year. Are they hard to keep growing.?

Thanks ;) Red Brugmansia is more hardy then other Brugmansia species (endemic to Andes, grow at elevations from 2,000 to 3,000m, sadly extinct in the wild) My plany does not bloom until I move it from full sun to partial shade. I feed Brugmansia with a high potas food, tomato fertilizer once a week.
