@tinaaune hi Tina! How are you? This is a normal sized smoke bush, I have it in about a 4 gallon sized pot that it's always been in and I do wack at it now and then when it needs it, gotta water alot!😆, but I do agree it's gorgeous in the fall!💘😍

You need to take a 6inch cutting from this years growth. Strip all but a couple of the top leaves, strip some of the bark back from the bottom and dip in rooting hormone. Pop in moist compost all but top 2 inches. Keep it moist and away from direct sun. I use half a large plastic water bottle as a propagator to keep my cuttings moist 😊

@KariSamuel yes it is! I don't have the room for a big ole smoke bush! So whenever I can I get a standard in a large plant so I can have it in my yard! It's pretty costly but worth it!💘😍

I think I jave this ! Was here when I bought tje house 14 yes ago and I trimmed tjw hell out of it. In thw summer as it was huge and blocking my window tje nd said that I probably killed it . it filled back out . hmm I'm gonna have to check on it tomorrow... I'm pretty sure its that.
