@leno I have found (for me anyway) that all heuchera except the light leafed ones can take considerable sun, the terrillium and heucherella have to have more shade. I may be a heucheraholic! Just sayin! Please do post yours!💘😍

@ShellySnyder I have that very established bougainvillea used zip ties to tie the ones going through Thru fence so it wouldn't scratch them then the cut zip ties were thrown in front of mailbox her 28 yr. old daughter doesn't like flowers mom said go ahead again with the zip ties they didn't cut them so yesterday they had cut at least 15 branches some in their side but some from top so way into car. Of bougainvillea do you think it'll be ok your not suppose to trim during blooming time advice pl

I going to find some ugly rotten plywood from the field but I'm afraid since a lot of those branches are laying so tight up against that fence so I put a coated cable line around outside of plant between plt and fence and pulled it out and stalked it like u do when ur plting a new tree I'm so worried about it any adve I'm afraid the plywood would damage my branches and leaves I don't understand people this woman is hardly ever home!! It's her daughter I guess

@terrimclaughlin I wish I knew what was wrong with some people!! It's God's own mystery!! But as far as I know it really shouldn't hurt it to cut it back, from what I understand about vines is they are very resilient and can usually take trimming. Actually most pants will benefit from a trimming. But to be sure let's ask some others @lovestogarden @cyndi @Acetaker @KariSamuel (I've gone blank!) Do any of you know!?💘😍

@terrimclaughlin I don't think it will hurt it either. Trim it back then take your cuttings and place them in water to root. The good thing will be u will have more of it to grow and I'd make sure it grew on a fence along the side between your house and theirs... bwahaha!😂😂😂 I was going to ask u for cuttings with roots but hay of these root..I'll taken off your hands☺️😍

@terrimclaughlin I break the rules all the time about cutting bougainvillea when they are blooming. They would take over my breezeway if I didn't. They do fine. It will come back fine.

@cschulz02 they are good down to zone 5 for me the lighter colored ones will only do good in lots of shade( lime green , cream& green, etc.) Other wise they are tough little plants💘😍
