Harvesting sunflower heads. Never done this before and I have no idea if it'll work. All brown bagged and hung up. Will check in a couple of weeks to see how they're doing #fingerscrossed
They can also be eaten now as they are. When I was a kid my siblings and I would get one sunflower each to eat out in the garden which I think was a plot to keep us occupied 😁😁
@ublaszko that's really cool! Everything I read said they need to be washed, dried and roasted, so that little gem is great to know. Thank you! 💚🌻
It seems like a hassle to me to roast them. 😁 They're nice eaten raw. We only roast a small amount if we fancy seed & nut mix with soy sauce.
