Hi, this is hibiscus
I know it's a hibiscus. I need to know which species it is. Tropical or hardy etc.. I got it from Walmart and no info with it
It's not frost hardy. Needs full sun.
Thank you PlantDoctor. That's what I needed to know
Make sure it is getting plenty of light through the winter, when you bring it inside. Now would be a good time to transplant to a slightly larger pot. One that it can stay in through next fall.
@ShirleyStiles - It looks like Hibiscus "Painted Lady" to me. You might want to check with some Hibiscus savvies, though. 🌴🌺🐾
Thank you so much 👍. The nights are getting cooler here so needing to know when to bring indoors
Which zone are you in? Rule of thumb I follow is when Temps start dropping below 40° at night. But I am in a zone 5. What you.need to do with it will depend on your zone.
I'm 5 or 6A zone. N.E. Missouri. Cold temps tonight so brought inside.
