Just starting to bloom. Of course the little monsters decide to climb the thorniest tree we haveπ¬π©. #mophead #robinia #blacklocust #cat

Lovely tree. Goofy kitty. π

Teeheehee π

It took me a minute, I thought it was all one picture and was wondering if a black locust was the same thing as the mop head. π€£

Wow mop head with eyes and tail π€ππ

Please help me identify this flowering tree. It smells amazing. #robinia #mophead #blacklocust

This looks like a white wisteria? Fits the description. You're in the right place here for help with your garden, just keep posting pictures and we'll point you in the right direction π

@tash74 this tree has large thorns all over the branches. I don't recall wisteria having thorns. And thank you for helping.

Oh? No you're right, wisteria wouldn't have thorns. Where exactly are you?

Someone here will know, I'll tag a few knowledgeable people.... @tiggrx @richard.spicer.7906 @bigemrg @justin @latebloomer @angipangi @brightcolours @drnicko @mikethegardener

Could it be a Robinia? They have thorns and resemble wisteria. @tash74 @SikoMa

It's Robinia pseudoacacia, I think? @tiggrx @richard.spicer.7906 @justin @drnicko @angipangi @brightcolours ???

I reckon you're right @richard.spicer.7906 I knew one of you would know! I've never really got to know Robinia, are they scented?

@late bloomer @bigemrg

I agree it looks like Robinia
#blacklocust is showin off, smells so sweet and heavenly. #fragrant ππππ
