Coming to the end of our growing season now because very soon it will be impossible for most of the plants in the garden to survive the intense heat and glaring sun. The good news is it's time to collect seeds! These plants thrived in my growing conditions so they're proven winners. #saveyourseeds #borage #gyo #myseedbank #futuregifts #savemoney

Heck yeah, gurl! I'm very interested in growing some of it, and I would absolutely love to share some of my own seeds, as I collected way more than I could ever do anything with! @skellyshelly

Let's make this happen @bpetty55 ! Things in my garden are now j-u-s-t starting to go to seed. I'm in zone 10a but I think borage will do well anywhere. Let's aim to swap around mother's day so my plants can make their change and I can process their seeds and have a variety for you. Sound good?

The honeybees love borage and you can see her tongue because she's eating the nectar! #savethebees #plantsforpollinators #borage #gyo #savetheseeds

@skellyshelly I've also read that #borage is supposed to deter horn worms 🐛on 🍅

I've read that, too @bpetty55 . Plus they make a great companion plant for strawberries. None of my berries were stolen by the wildlife this year. We'll see about the hornworms...

I've been on the look 👀 out for some myself! I'm still hoping to one day find something to effectively fight them @skellyshelly maybe this will be the ticket..... 👍

I have had more volunteer tomato plants pop up next to the borage and strawberries so we'll see if the worm population is reduced this year @bpetty55 .

It's official - I have blue stars in the garden! I haven't tasted the blooms yet because I've waited so long to see them. Future flowers will adorn my salads. It won't be long now! #borage #edibleflower #bluestar

Borage is about to bloom. It's a wonderful companion plant for strawberries plus the blue star-like flowers are edible and pretty in a salad. #borage #edible #gyo
