Starting to wonder if the prop on the left is going to be crested possibly? It's just growing differently #succulent-propagation

Previously I had all my propagated leaves on soil but the roots kept drying up so trying some water propagation

I haven't tried water propagation yet but every picture I've seen on here so far looks great, like yours. I think it's time to try!

@gjones @llamadrama it's definitely fun to be able to get up close and personal without having to touch or move it much. I change the water daily tho and still seem to get some cloudy buildup on the roots, don't know if that's normal or not but everything looks good still

Will do! ☺

Giving water #propagation a go with 2 of my E. Hercules propped leaves, I left the 3rd in the soil to see how that one does

Hi @Soja412, can we grow succulents in water? Please guide me, I am also succulents lover. Thanks 👍

Hi @ankur1406 not necessarily. Short term yes but not for long term. More like a water therapy session! It seems to help the roots thrive and gives the plant an extra zap of life if it's looking a little down in the dumps. You can do this for a propagated leaf like I did but you can also do for a more established succulent, only if it's needed, for about 48 hrs.

Thanks @Soja412 , definitely it will help me lot. 👍👍

@ankur1406 You're welcome 😊 hope it helps you and your plants out!
