I don't know, I actually didn't think to touch it,which is strange because because I touch and taste things I probably shouldn't, like the child I am inside. Looks soft. @HollynTexas

Beautiful! They look like the Australian natives Protea family. Not sure which leaf is for it, but don't think🤔 either are correct. 🕵️

@lovestogarden Regarding your comment, I just learned that this Banksia is in the family Proteaceae, so you aren't wrong 😊
