I have mine in full afternoon sun under 50% shade cloth. If your sun is particularly harsh, you could go up to 75%.

Thank you for the resources. Honestly I'm having a hard time deciding between Carnicolor and Superbum. Perhaps I'll have to wait for flowers. And yes, I'm like 8 degrees from the equator so shade cloth is a good idea.
