Filling out nicely :) we brought this log with us from our old house, got it when we cut down some conifers in our old garden and now we have a part of our first ever home with us forever :)

Thank you Rachel, I'm really excited to see how it grows and looks. My little boy wants to put eyes on the trunk because the flowers look like hair :) @rachelbrooks

Re uploading a couple of pics so can have them catologued as seperate plants, now that I understand how that works! Need to get a pic of this now, it's really filled out and is close to flowering!
Here's my snapshots of my log planter. So close to flowering 😍 I feel tho that fuschia was the wrong choice. I think flowers that face up might have been a better choice, what do you think 🤔
Perhaps something at the back of the Fushia? 🌸🌹🌸
I think once they establish your trailing fuchsias will look lovely. You want something draping down as you have the height.
Nice #collage to show progression. 👏
Agree with @susieg 😊
I think it looks perfect! 👌🏼
I would love some of those. The fustian looks good, I think your choices are endless. Imagine a fern....
Well.... it's not against the law to make a "switcheroo"... or switch 2 of the 3.... And plonk the 2 ousted fusias in a hanging basket.
Thank you everyone for your advice, there's only the one plant actually in the log as the holes Probably fist sized, I think I'm going to leave it in and see how it progresses and if I decide to try something else I may do so next year :) really appreciate everyone's opinions 😁 🌸 @pelly @susieg @lovestogarden @jaynehynesburton @rachelbrooks @rubyshoes @humus
