Its a runner so hard to get rid of and spreads like mad I would recommend to keep it planted in the pot and bury it, it can take over if yr not careful 😯
Sorry its the roots of the plant that run pop up everywhere and as it snaps when you dig it out it starts another root, mine got too big in back border even in pot its about 7' high now its lovely how the lanterns turn orange so will leave it in the pot and stake it next year just getting all lanterns now 😁
