Just got this #plant-rescue for free from someone in a fb plant group - it was wilting and she didn't know how to save it! After unpotting I saw that the roots were compacted into a HARD BALL of dirt, no grit or aeration whatsoever so no wonder it was struggling! I separated the roots and repotted her with a much better mix and will hopefully have positive updates soon! 🤞 #thanksgiving-cactus

How is this doing now?

@heatherdirtyhands it's doing great! I'll post an update, it really ended up making a full comeback in a week and has been loving in partial sun ever since
Update on this cutie we rescued a while ago! It perked up within days of me freeing the roots from its compacted ball, and has been flourishing on the morning sun/afternoon shade side of my yard ever since. Now some of the stems have tiny little buds growing in, so I think it's gonna bloom this winter! 😍 #thanksgiving-cactus #christmas-cactus #plant-rescue
