My attempt at starting #bluefalseindigo from seed was unsuccessful, so I ordered "rooted cutting plugs" from Fruitwood Nursery. I expected something about 6 inches tall, but they were about two feet! Starting these as seedlings in a container didn't go well this year, so I'm trying something I saw on the interwebs: using a steel can to shelter baby seedlings from high wind and create a little bit of calm.
