That’s most likely a Siberian iris. Reticulata iris are very small and grow from a bulb. They are the first of iris to bloom at the end of winter. If you tag me in a close up I might be able to identify your iris.

No problem. We learn from others. i am an American Iris Society, Master judge. My husband and I have a large collection of Siberians. The flower might be another beardless iris, that’s why I asked if you had the chance to post a photo. From what I see it appears to be Siberian
