I was surprised to discover one of the #lithopsleslieivventeri #seedlings starting to split and reveal its true leaves, and then I realized they're 14 weeks old (3.5 months) so they're only a tiny bit earlier than expected. Once they make it through their first leaf change I'll be more confident in my ability to bring them to adulthood. #lithops #grownfromseed #fromseed #growyourown #gyo #gyolithops

29 July 2018: update on the #lithopsleslieivventeri #seedlings that I sowed on 14 Apr -- some of them got a bit sunburned, so I don't know if they're going to make it to adulthood, but others are hanging on and doing ok. They're not very green though, and I'm not sure if this is typical for this species or if it's a symptom of being sunburned. #lithops #grownfromseed #fromseed #growyourown #gyo #gyolithops

These pots are 3.5"x3.5" -- I got the black tray and 18 little square pots at Home Depot for about $5 for the set. Pots are pretty flimsy though, so I try to use two hands to move them so I don't squeeze them by accident and disturb the sprouts. @ohhyouknow
