A sight for sore eyes (which I have at the moment, lol!) 👍. Don't think I've ever seen strelizias growing in the open ground before, anywhere!

There’s a few more. I’ve lined the driveway with them. The ones in shade of calistemon tree are very tall with very long flowers all looking for more light. Thanks guys. @jeatacake @ukjohnny @gjones

Beautiful! I also only see them in cut flower arrangements in a florist shop! And even then, they are pricey!

Cheers. I have have my driveway lined with them. The ferns are underneath. All under bottle brush tree. There’s a possum drey right at the top of the callistemon. @gjones @KariSamuel @Keely

I have a little baby one of these growing in a pot indoors over winter, will go back outside in the spring. Really special flowers 👌🏼

@gjones I can’t find one that gives it justice. A possum drey is like a nest they make out of twigs and such. It’s quite large to hold a family. I get both sorts. Brush and ringtail. They drey belongs to the brush family.

@KariSamuel in florists here they are exy too. I need a big vase. I love cut flowers fresh from my yard.
