Here’s the first flower of the ultimate garden diva. I managed to grow them once in the last garden but I may have found the perfect spot for them in this one. They look happy enough. Time will tell 🤔
Whether or not I see them again next year is the mystery 😆 the title of biggest garden sulkers now goes to the martagon lilies that I planted in 2021 and haven’t seen since @johnnyuk
Beautiful poppy Suzanne. Used to have one in an old garden now I’m struggling to keep Red poppies alive!?! I seem to have lost a few plants this year ( or you know who has dug them out)😂
@johnnyuk Now the dilemma about the lilies is do I try and find the bulbs to see if they’re even still there or do I just move on and forget they ever existed? (all the time hoping for a surprise shoot)
@sho47 Hmm, it could be due to last year’s dry spell and then the freezing cold winter, or it could be a little blonde whirlwind dug them out 🤣😇 Odd that the poppies are struggling, mind you.

@hebelover Thanks Jason ☺️ Your garden is stunning as always!
@juliesgarden Take comfort from the fact that I can grow them because of the ridiculous amounts of rain we get 😆
