Ok so I'm sitting out in my sanctuary guys and I look over at my desert rose and I noticed the yellow peculiar things growing around pot. But next to them are these strange half shell that resembles a tiny coconut. Some are open and some aren't. Any clue what's going on here?
Help me identify this plant, is this plantain? I live in Louisiana and been told it's plentiful. I have a lot in my yard. I would love to make a healing salve if this is what it is 💚

Welcome to Gtags! This is common #plantain, actually related to the hosta! Most consider it a weed, but it has all kinds of #healing benefits and #edible parts! Enjoy your journey with us! 🍃⚘🌱
Thank you so much @KariSamuel!! I'm so excited!! I'm studying naturopathy and on herbalism and I want to make medicine out of every plant I see!! Lol!!
@synbee81 - I know you can mash up the leaves, until it's kinda a mess, put it on a wound.... it was like Magic Salve! I would be interested in your recipe!
