These guys are in a pot with more mecs, the best thing for flowering is waiting 3years then letting them go for it. You can propogate from root cuttings like a dandelion tap root. Thanks @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom and @mich

No not mine @pottybird42 the kids!

7w
comment
thehardygardener

It's slug proofing @Soph1e and it works

7w
comment
Soph1e

Will have to remember that! It's a hell of a lot cheaper than wool pellets!

7w
comment
thehardygardener

Wool I have that too @Soph1e bi tie round the pot. However the copper tape works, as does old wire, also eggsshels. All deter the slime monsters!

7w

ofthought

Hmm, have a prolifically shedding dog think that will work too?

7w
comment
thehardygardener

For shure @ofthought I use cat brushings too, placed in amongst seedlings

I love the alpine plants too Aly they're just beautiful, I might just do that too then if it's worked for you it will work here too but the ones I got last year came up ok..but it wasn't a bad winter there so it's probably best to protect them just incase we get a bad one 👍
