My Jacaranda trees are causing a problem growing so tall😂

Have you kept it indoors all summer, Ann? I put my spindly one outside but I think I should bring it in now as the nights are getting colder. What do you feed yours with? @thomasrat3

Nothing so far Barbara, I’ve got two of them at the same height, do you feed yours🤔 I’ve kept the, in the conservatory all the time🤔 @jacaranda

jac trees bloom on new wood so can prune after bloom. possibly able to cut back to grow as shrub. would need root pruned every 2 years. to late to prune this year spring next year.

I’ve just given mine an occasional all purpose liquid feed this summer, Ann, but it’s still a rather pathetic specimen 😂 @thomasrat3

Mine is such a weedy looking thing, Terry, that I’m sure it would keel over and die if I tried to prune it! @moore.794

Oh dear - my Jacaranda trees have reached the top of the ceiling- I was advised to not pinch out the tops or else they will lose their shape but what do I do now😂

Any ideas @jacaranda ? Xx

Not a clue @clipperty 😂 My plant lost all its leaves last winter so I cut it down by half and it's regrown nicely. I don't know whether pinching out is good or bad. How many plants do you have @thomasrat3 🤔

I bought the seeds and a friend started them off for me😀 They look very healthy and I must look after them well😀
