Yes Katy, this dies back at least 3/4 of the way each year so I'm afraid I'll never see blooms or it's full potential size, but even if smaller I still think it's worth it @gjones

I think yours might be a different one than mine, love the color by the way! These are very tough plants and usually cutting back really promotes lots of new growth and I'm pretty sure they bloom on new growth! So I can't figure it out! My neighbors have one and there's is different from ours and they bloom like crazy, always have!🤨🤦🤔💘😍
