Some great #fasciation on this #sunflower this #bee doesn't seem to mind either way😊 yesterday's frost took out a bunch of plants but a few were spared with some damage, hope they keep going so I can get a few more critter pics..
We were able to see some of the effects of the fires last week with very hazy skies but right now u can't tell @gjones isn't it crazy that something so far away impacts us as well, we're all connected in one way or another ☺
That's funny u say that cuz I tried last week at a sunset and the camera just would not see it as my eyes did! @gjones
The smoke from our bush fires last summer went to New Zealand and the pacific islands close by.
Love ANY that are #mutations! 🥴 #mutant #funky

DAMN IT!! #frost #sunflower
We got too darn close to frost too! How did things fair for you?
Most look pretty pitiful with a few things lightly touched and still trying to push on @KariSamuel 😣
Sorry to hear that! We are back in the 80's again today! Whacky weather!
Oh my god I know, we're 82 today and I can't stand it that some of my plants are toast already, wierd wisconsin weather huh, but I guess that's everywhere 🤔 @KariSamuel

1st #sunflower of the season, #birdplanted of course😊 alot of 1sts this week for opening, the garden is really popping now 🤗 #bluesky
Love it when birds leave little presents..(apart from poop on my bench)! 😆
Such an exciting time when everything starts to open up! I have a few bird seeded sunflowers that I'm still waiting on, too. Hope they look half as amazing as yours!
I got poop on the head a few days ago!😜 oh well @italydiva 😘
Thanks Jackie! The best thing about #birdplanted sunflowers is that they're always earlier than the rest! @jmlincoln
I heard poop on the head is good luck 🤣
Boy I hope there's some truth to that 😄 @jmlincoln
Anyone who takes poop to the head, deserves something good in return! Otherwise, that's just not right lol
😲🥴 maybe them pooping on my bench is preferable!!!! 😬
Your Sunflower is amazing beautiful! 🌻 And definitely a poop on the head deserves some kind of reward in return! 😊😂
Thanks Suzie! I'm still waiting for that reward......😆 @suzieshadow1227gmailcom
Looks like a pretty postcard for summer somewhere. Great picture. So pretty 😊💕

I believe this is s volunteer of Indian Summer sunflowers I planted from seed a few years ago. Who ever said gardening Is hard?
@tinaaune Wow this is very very beautiful! I was wondering if you could give me some seeds from this sunflower once it's done??
@veepaisal send your address to tinaaune90@gmail
Thank you Tina @tinaaune
@veepaisal got your address but it will probably be a while before the seeds are dry and cured. Couple of months or so.
Thank you again Tina, no rush! I'm also drying out the ones we have here. Gonna look so purrttyy next summer! How do you cure the seeds??? I leave the ones I have from the current sunflowers on a tray to dry them out and then leave them in paper bags @tinaaune
I leave them on the plant till very late fall and whatever the birds haven't ate take then and put in an envelope in s ziploc in fridge.
Don't remember planting this one but we'll go with it! 😍 #sunflower #redsunflower #helianthusannuus
Such a deep rich colour. Beautiful ♥️♥️
