If you research the clerodendrum plant family @jeatacake you will find the most unusual and cool looking plants, I have the musical note, the blue butterfly, and light bulb plant, and seeds for the starfish flower! Working on collecting them all!

@cyndi may just drive up there in the spring with all my cuttings, seeds boxes, shovel and gloves to help you!

So interesting...Theresa we are on same wavelength. I wonder if she has a guest bedroom? I'm afraid of hotels/bedbugs. Not afraid to camp. I bet @pretty_paws_29 would want in on the fun.

Blast I just read that the plant was tropical. Grrr, you FL people get such good stuff.

@ofthought that should not keep you from growing tropicals, if possible have a place they can be protected from the cold, some may need a little more work, like saving seeds, start them indoors early to have a head start on the growing season. Some can be treated like houseplants for the winter!

There are so many unusual flowers in the clerodendrum family... I have 4 different plants so far :)

I live in central Florida too in Rockledge 😄. I will be trying to make a butterfly 🦋 garden in the next few weeks. Or at least a little corner garden with some butterfly 🦋 attractors
