I might think itโ€™s something in the air down there, because my mothers neighbors bloomed also. Sheโ€™s the women I got the cuttings from the ginger plant and my sanchizia

@treefrog44 Iโ€™m not sure sheโ€™s silver queen... silver queen usually donโ€™t have markings if I remember correctly. More like a zeylanica to me. And they bloom when they mature and are overcrowded lol

Beautiful. Years ago my mom's supprised us and bloomed one year in the house. She always put it out during the summer. But it had been growing for years without a bloom.🤗

At first we thought these were water drops, but they are sticky and sweet 😄 as if the smell alone was not enough to draw pollinators...lol!

@columbiariver in Florida these are everywhere as landscape plants, it was here when we moved in a year ago, it was a pup I took from the mother plant, my daughter wanted a plant in her room :) i planted it in a small 4" pot, it was pot bound when it started to flower. That may be the key :)
