Sunny and smelly - in a nice way 👍🏻

Going to seed.

The fennel is having a lovely time in the sun. Lots of tiny flowers to sweep up but the smell while brushing them off the path is lovely and refreshing.

Fennel seems happy this year. Let's hope no frosts.

I have one in a pot my Dad gave me. Need to decide the best place to plant it?

I believe they like full sun and good drainage @budgie. Mine has the good drainage but is in partial shade- doesn't seem to mind now that it has established itself. Gets really really tall every year and sends lovely wafts over the patio. Also provides nice feathery screening between the patio and the house. Hover flies and butterflies seem to love it.
