We have only been here for the last year . But we did plant a couple at our last property. It bore fruit after a couple of years . You will get fruit when the trunk is about as thick as a babies arm. 😁 @joan323

Obviously the amount of fruit was minimal, but at least we got a taste 😁. This plant we have now , produced two crops last year . The first last spring, which we lost most of in one night ( we presume to possum) then a bumper crop in the summer ! @joan323

🌺so attractive Victoria.. I have a jaboticaba growing, but only young. I have only ever seen a tree with the fruit.. not the flowers, so thanks..

@Joan323 The whole tree is buzzing with bees ! So should get a bumper crop . I'm not sure of the age of ours I'd say maybe at least 20 years old .

@truly.. well I have got a fair few years to wait then lol..😃
