I found this amazing. I have only been growing day lilies for a couple of years. Had no clue they did this. After the bloom was spent, I cut it back and out of the spent (dead) bloom stalk a baby grew from it.

@txgardener, glad to see you made the trip, and. Surprise, yes the will re-grow and if you have enough warm weather left you might get lucky and get a second round of flowers.
