How wonderful! I love this Berberis, makes a great hedge too. Mum's neighbours have it and it's always full of sparrows as the prickly hedge keeps them safe from cats.

Ah, these are on the original plant Terri @terrimclaughlin, but the little ones have quite a few this year I’m pleased to say.

It’s a great plant @tash74, fantastic hedging for me as it is wind and salt tolerant. I hadn’t thought about the bonus for the birds too!

Beautiful! Mine got flattened by the neighbours fence at the weekend in the winds 🙄 - I think it’s ok, it’s a young one and the main stem seems quite bendy, but will stake it just to be sure. I really wanted it to bush out a bit from the base, but struggling to get it to shape up

I’ve got hedges of it @richard.spicer.7906 (it is happy with high winds and salty air!) and I trimmed twice a year from the very beginning and all the bushes have filled out very well.
