Time for a update. Been here for 5 years now so the garden is no longer brand new. It’s still windy, it’s still stony and I still have so many plans.

Confused cactus. Too late for Christmas, too early for Easter! It flowered at Christmas and it’s covered in buds again now so I’m confused too!

Mine is the same, Val. It’s flowering better today than it did at Christmas 😍

Good morning All. My Christmas cactus hasn’t flowered very well this year, the flowers it has are beautiful but there aren’t many of them. I need to do some research for next year. Any tips? #advice #zygocactus #houseplants

Hi @Cyndi I just read that somewhere. I did it with my poinsettia and it worked a treat. Put it in the big cupboard in the garage. It’s quite cold there and wondering if this one can cope with that.

Good morning Val. I don’t know about darkness but I put mine outside in a sheltered, shady spot for the summer and stop feeding them. After bringing them back in I don’t feed them until flower buds have formed. I can’t remember where I read to do this but works a treat 👍

@valjones-hughes I’m listening too if that’s ok as I cannot get my cactus to flower for love nor money. Should I put mine in a cupboard then, or would the shed be better? Not sure of temperature. 🤔

Thanks Jacqui, I like the idea of giving it some outdoor time and the rest makes sense. @awomanonabike
