#alstroemeria-orange-supreme on its 4th or 5th flush of the year. I think it's finished for the year then up it pops again. Stems are around 3 to 4ft tall so it sits nicely under the #tetrapanax

They're in flower at the place I bought them from originally. They live in the heated greenhouse all year there though @juliesgarden

Not until next Sunday @flowerseed and it's a "statue" We didn't like the plinths they had so stopped at an antiques centre on the way back and bought a weathered looking concrete pot which we'll turn upside down and use as a plinth 😉

We went to lots of places @rachelbrooks The ornament place then potash garden centre, hockley market GC, Riverside GC, doubled back as road was closed, into that big kitchen shop (potters ?) Then on to Rayleigh for a wander then battlesbridge on the way home .... Phew I'm exhausted and cold ❄️ I thought I spotted you talking at your front door but it may have been another glamourous lady😉😘

I love them both, for different reasons, but Hockley MGC is not at its best at the moment cause of the Xmas stuff 🙄 Did you buy anything in Potters? I didn't buy anything @rachelbrooks Hockley market was lacking in plants, Riverside looked immaculate and potters was all designer cookware with extortionate prices 😯 The only GC I hadn't been to before was potash but nothing grabbed me anywhere

Potash can be really hit and miss 😏 their pots are normally quite cheap though. So what statue did you get?

It's a Buddha but not a big bellied one. Mr Vec has covered it up so I can't place it (not that I could lift it) or take a photo until next Sunday 😂 @rachelbrooks

#alstroemeria orange supreme #mothersday present

Have a large pot of Indian summer Alstroemeria, split into 3 last year to give to my daughters in law and all are coming up really strong. 👍

That's what I'll do with my Indian summer if it comes back up @drewneil I've got a whole new border to fill once I start digging and wanted some different varieties in it ☺

Grew Indian summer last year, it flowered for weeks, so I've got a couple of pink ones in my greenhouse just popping up. Hoping for as many flowers from them.

Loved my Indian summer last year @lisa868 So easy to grow, look after and flowered its heart out for months 💛❤
