Day 69 of no rain. #colocasia-pink-china is doing so much better in pots than in the ground. These leaves are twice the size of my hands. Have moved them around the garden several times but think I’ve found where they’re happiest. Early morning sun and shade from 11am
Oh…I was considering maybe getting one for next year, if it’s so temperamental though I may give it a miss. I’m aiming for the least stressful, easy going type of plants from here on in!! 😂
Don’t let me put you off @italydiva I have a very difficult garden for tropical plants. East facing so sun full pelt in the summer but at the bottom of a hill and a real frost pocket (compared to the top of the hill) with north and east winds to contend with
Ahh..okay. I shall have to think carefully where I might put it. Space is becoming a bit of an issue. I presume sun in the morning with shade from midday/afternoon sun would be best?

You can’t win with these, need decent heat to get going but too much sun and they’re fried @italydiva
