@bigemrg they are fantastic and don't mind part shade or heavy clay soil (both of which I have). This is one year old and is already bulking up nicely. I have two others now. Be careful, they're addictive 😉
@charlottejhurst oh dear. They tend to do best in damp conditions so maybe it needs more water. Mine gets the run off from the deck and seems to like it. Also, they're notoriously slow to establish so if it's a younger plant it may just need more time.
Oh I'm seriously jealous! I definitely need an astrantia in my life! This looks gorgeous!

Hi, my name is Ian and I'm a plantaholic! 😁
Plantaholics unite. In fact we have. On here. Where we lead one another astray. 😂
That's lovely! I now get why mine hasn't flourished. ..
@charlottejhurst do you have sunshine and free-draining soil?
I had 3..... I now have one. It's in a pot. It does ok. Bit it doesn't seem to be happening this year 😑

@vespa thanks for the info. It's about 3 years now. I think it's possibly the water situation. I'?
I'm slightly inconsistent 😉 as you can see from my typing 😂😂😂
@charlottejhurst lol. Keep me posted on how you get on.
@vespa Wow that's stunning! I knew I should have gone for that colour! But then I suppose I could have both... :) Addictive is the word absolutely
