Oh aren’t Semp’s a pain with the mealy bug! I hope it has a good recovery.

@livingdecor - each and every one of my semps now have it, roots and all. I have just pulled them all out, did a plant stock take and chopped their roots. I am going to have to go systemic on their arses.

@Yollymac My place was the same a few weeks back. They are starting to look better now after a few hours spent treating them. Now it’s the aphids in my string of pearls... always something 😴

Oh no, that sucks. How did you treat be semps? I must say, I have neglected mine for a while. How are you treating the aphids - sorry to hear that. @livingdecor, sorry I forgot to tag you!

@Yollymac I took them all out of their pots, removed what I could of damaged leaves and sprayed with eco pest oil. They needed a second quick treatment a week or two later but now they seem to be doing ok 🤞

@livingdecor 🤞🏻 for you! I had mealy all through the roots so I ended up head chopping and trimming all roots. I also sprayed with a systemic, replaced the soil and squashed a few mealies by hand!! Yuck.
