Bugle 'Rainbow'

This is a fast growing ground covering plant but could become invasive if not kept under control, it spreads by putting out runners. The glossy leaves are oval in shape with some varieties being a mid green, but others ranging to a dark green with purple markings. The flowers grow on short spikes. 'Rainbow' (or Multicolor as it is sometimes sold as) has evergreen foliage that changes colour through the year, ranging from flecks of pink, red, purple, cream and green. In Spring and Summer spikes of blue flowers appear.
