Propagation by Seed
From Early Spring TO Mid Spring
Bismarckia nobilis can be easily propagated by using fresh seed (the fresher the better) by sowing in a medium of equal parts peat compost and vermiculite/perlite. It needs to be well draining, and keep at an optimum temperature of 26-35 degrees Celsius. Water thoroughly, but also let the medium completely dry out before watering again. Germination typically takes place between 6-8 weeks.
