'Silver Anniversary' is an evergreen shrub which produces large white, peony-form flowers with a golden centre of stamens which appear from late winter to early spring. The leaves emerge a bright green and gradually darken with age. Grows to 2.5m.

From Late Autumn TO Early Spring

Plant container grown plants in late autumn or early spring. If growing in a container use ericaceous compost.

 

Propagation by cuttings

From Mid Summer TO Early Autumn

Semi hard wood cuttings are taken from the current years growth from late summer to mid autumn the bottom of the cuttings is hard and soft on the top. With a sharp knife take a cutting of about 14cms, remove lowest leaves, dip end into rooting hormone, and place round the edge of a pot filled with a suitable compost, water well, they must remain moist till rooted, place under glass but in semi shade.

 

Propagation by seed

From Mid Spring TO Early Summer

Sometimes seed pods will form after flowering and they can be dried and planted under glass in ericaceous compost
