Campsis can be propagated by hardwood cuttings. Cut well-ripened young shoots 30-60cm long (1-2ft). Dip the cut end in hormone rooting powder before inserting it 15-20cm (6"-8") deep into soil in a cold frame. The following Autumn plant the young plants out.
