Peanut Cactus 'Rose Quartz'

'Rose Quartz' is a hybrid between Chamaecereus ("Peanut Cactus") and Lobivia . This "peanut" cactus has an upright growth habit, offsetting and blooming profusely. Flowers are rose-coloured, and tinged with purple highlights. As the cactus ages, it eventually becomes woody and spineless. Blooms in several flushes in late spring and early summer.
