Crocosmia have bright green, sword-like foliage and wiry, branching stems and carrying buds which open to create a splash of colour in the late summer. They grow quickly and form clumps which can become invasive thus need dividing regularly.

Montbretia Corms should be planted in the spring approximately 8cm to 10cm deep and 10cm to 15cm apart. Choose a position with full sun or partial shade in the afternoons where the soil is fertile but free draining.
