Heuchera 'Champagne'

Alumroot 'Champagne'

Heuchera is commonly known as Alumroot or Coral bells and is a frost hardy perennial grown primarily for its attractive, evergreen foliage. They can be found with varying leaf sizes in many different, stunning, colours and shades. They produce small flowers on nodding stems some being taller than others. If planted in shade, the foliage will be more pronounced than if they are in full sun. 'Champagne' has medium-sized leaves that start peach-coloured, and gradually change to gold, then the colour of champagne. Dark red stems bear pale peach-coloured flowers. This plant needs protection from hot afternoon sun, to avoid leaf scorch.
