Plantain Lily 'Big Daddy'

Hosta are popular perennials for shady areas. Grown for their architectural qualities and sumptuous foliage topped with lily-like blooms. The flowers appear in mid-summer. Hosta go completely dormant in the autumn, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. 'Big Daddy' sports cupped and puckered, blue-green leaves of great substance and makes an impressive large clump to 1m across. Short dense spikes of near white flowers.
