Flowering Season

From Early Summer TO Late Summer

The Crepe Myrtle is popular in warmer climes around the world and in the right conditions will grow to become magnificent trees which flower. In these conditions, they will flower from early to late summer.

Planting young plants

From Early Spring TO Late Spring

Plant from young stock. Most Crepe Myrtles in gardens are selections of Lagerstroemia 'Indica' or hybrids of that species with Lagerstroemia 'Fauriei'. The latter species has attracted much notice for its hardiness and exceptionally showy bark. Do protect newly planted stock from frost until well established in a sunny bed.
