Help me identify this plant #help #identify Northern Pennsylvania Native Plant, found on yesterday's adventure at Hickory Run State Park. About my height, 6ft 2in. #talltuesday #tuesdaychoice #tuesday
Locals here call it Pecker weed or Indian rag weed. Mullein is the correct name. It takes over fast and we try to get rid of it. Usually around my burn pile or gravel lane going out to the road.

@570upcycle try horseweed. I know it gets huge!
@rennezoe Found a good article on it; http://www.eattheweeds.com/conyza-canadensis-herb-fire-food-2/
Interesting! Even the " weeds " have a purpose...
think it's actually called mullein. Which is another weed packed full of medicinal purpose. @rennezoe
Nice...I'd take mullein over horseweed Any day!
