Love my “weed”. I have really babied this #mullien like it was an exotic rarity. But it’s just the most beautiful weed. And maybe one day I will learn to use it for all of its benefits?? Fingers crossed that it blooms this year 🤞#grownative
@tinaaune I built a bed around mine, because I was too scared to move it. I have 3 so far, and luckily they are in acceptable places, but thanks good to know they transplant well
@haleyt901 It has medicinal properties like helping your organs and blood, I'm not sure about calming effects. You take the mature but not the old dying leaves and clean them then dry them. Clean with a wet cloth to get some of the fuzzy off. The ones we were picking were about as long as our hand not damaged and then let the new growth grow out before picking. It spreads pretty easy and grows quickly.
@haleyt901 My grandmother lays them on a screen to dry and then after that she will crumble them into a coffee canister and uses about a handful or so per half gallon I believe and boil it together (it would have to be to your taste of course). After that she strains it then adds honey. (You can flavor to your taste like sugar or what not too. )

I let all mine grow as well, and if it sprouts in a spot in the front I just move it to the back @haleyt901
You can make tea from it! My 100 yo great grandmother drinks it every night before bed!

@WellHush awesome, is it just calming like lavender? You make the tea from the blooms, or the leaves?

It’s great for getting mucus up and out! Mullein = expectorant
Awesome! @Racheltheredhead we have a lot of sinus issues in my house
