Help me identify this plant, new house in new town and want to make sure it is not a weed? I have several of them and they are beautiful.

I think this is Great Mullein (Verbascum thapsus). It's wild-growing but not necessarily a weed. Plenty of people grow them on purpose. I agree they are pretty.

It’s biennial so will flower next year.
